Denis Vallejos sees travel in the details.

Denis Vallejos is an economist, specialty coffee barista, photographer, and lifelong explorer. After years leading development and tourism projects in northern Nicaragua, he was recognized as a Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative ambassador and became Nicaragua’s National Barista Champion in 2025.
His firsthand regional knowledge shapes every NicasDeTour journey with curiosity, care, and an eye for the moments most travelers miss.
The origin of
NicasDeTour
In 2020, Denis founded NicasDeTour to transform the way visitors experience the region. What began as a search for authentic, less-traveled places became a travel company built around carefully curated Central American experiences.
From Corn Island and the Cayos Perlas to adventure and cultural routes across Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and El Salvador, each itinerary is designed to help travelers feel present in the places they discover.
